AKHIL AUSTRALIA MARATHI SAMMELAN

Akhil Australian Marathi Sammelan (AAMS 2025) will be held from 25^th to 27^th April 2025 in Sydney. This is a convention for the entire Marathi community in Australia. To commemorate this event, a souvenir magazine – called Smaranika – is planned by the organising committee and hence, your wholehearted participation is expected. 

This magazine will contain short stories, travelogues, poems, skits etc. by the established, as well as evolving authors and poets in Australia. We do await a huge response of articles for this magazine from all of you. So, get ready, transfer your boundless imagination on paper in the form of interesting articles and send us the manuscripts for publication in the commemorative magazine. The only condition is: the article must be your original ! And yes, it must be in Marathi – expect for the children under 15 years of age, who are allowed to submit the writings in English.

• Please send typed manuscript in Marathi font (WORD) as well as in .docx. Please do not send handwritten manuscript. Also, please include your name and residential city.
• Maximum length of the article should be 1500 words and it should be an unpublished article hitherto.
• If the article has an associated photo, it should be of minimum 300 DPI. Also please note that it will be printed – if possible – in the Smaranika as Black & White photo.
• To maintain the quality of the magazine, only the selected articles will be published. In this regard, committee’s decision will be final. 
• Please note that by submitting the manuscript in response to this invitation, it will be deemed that the author has given all the publication rights to the Sammelan Committee. 

Smaranika is a great opportunity to publish your literature. Businesses can use it to advertise.
